Hello!

Welcome to my blog.

I go by the name Exuperist because I love Antoine de Saint-Exupery's little novella "The Little Prince" and in the same vein that fans of Haruki Murakami call themselves "Murakamists", I just thought I'll do the same for this guy, though I only took the Exupery part.

As you can see, it's pretty much just a blog about my personal experiences and some random thoughts that pop into my head. I started writing these articles in 2011 and I've revamped the blog several times already. I guess I'm just not satisfied, or my preferences have changed over the years, and I'm confident that this will be the last iteration, unless I decide to migrate this blog somewhere else so that I can have more visibility with it. For now, this will stay right here.

So, if you read through the articles I've written over the years, you'll also notice that my viewpoints have changed, and there are certain things with which I felt a strong conviction before, but now I no longer hold some of those views. For example, I wrote an article about video games and anime, and how it can be dangerous. Later on, I found myself actually liking these things, but as with anything, in moderation.

I mostly write about my personal experiences and my worldview just leaks into it somehow. So, most of the articles I have published so far were about faith, relationships, and philosophical stuff. But I've had a lot of varying experiences already, and I'm ready to talk about those things as well. I want to impart my insights and spark interesting discussions from whoever visits my little mind space on the internet. If any of my works provoke deep introspection from people, then I would consider that a win.

Hopefully, this blog can be helpful, or at the very least, be a space where I can interact with people, even if we have differing viewpoints. I hope my experiences can inspire people or maybe make you laugh. I often think my life is boring, but in those moments when odd and unexpected things happen in my life, I think those have been the best memories I will treasure.
