Happy 2012!!!

Happy New Year! All around the world, people have welcomed and have still been waiting for the New Year. 2012--the most awaited year, perhaps, of the century.

This year is the one that we have all been waiting for, to prove whether the Mayan calendar is telling the truth or not--is the world going to end in 2012?

Many are speculating, many are preparing for what's to come, many are having the time of their lives. But, for now, let us reminisce on the things that happened this year. Why is 2011 memorable?

Well, besides being the first of the second decade of the 21st century, 2011 has its own rights for it to be remembered. Here is a recollection of the most notable events that happened this year, events that shocked us and have left an unforgettable mark upon each one. So there's the Christchurch Earthquake, the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster, the Royal Wedding, and many more.

2011, a year that no one would ever forget. It would possibly be the start of tremendous changes that will continue to happen in years to come. But, as it comes to a close, let us now look forward to the coming years. Let us always be hopeful and stay strong.
