Let go--says the guy to his friend after his heart got broken; says the widow to her neighbor whose husband died; and the mother as she comforts her child.

Let go--the proverbial phrase of leaving something behind and moving forward to see what lies ahead in our life.

Many have a difficult time letting go of their past, of their relationships, of their loved ones; they keep anything that would remind them of moments in the past. Reflecting on the good times that they have had.

It's good to keep memories of what was but there are times when you just have to let them go especially if it causes you pain and misery. People spend years battling, trying to change the past, only to lose in the end.

Remember that there is more to life than what we take it for. If we keep on trying to live the good old days then we wouldn't be getting to where we are headed.

What's done is done, there's nothing we can do about it anymore. So, end the selfish sulking, get out of your bed, and go out and explore the world. Open your eyes to the opportunities given to you. Keep in mind that there is always something better in store for us.
