Living with Sorrow

"I watched him being torn out by grief. Behind that unmoving facade, lies a deep sorrow. The emptiness he feels caused by the leaving of his heart's heart is now filled by anguish and regret.

He searches for a place, a small dwelling for the moment to let out his feelings that he has kept hidden in the trench of his heart, in the seat of his soul. But where he will go, I do not know.

I tried to follow him but he is nowhere to be seen. From east to west, I have looked yet still I see no sign of him. Rain starts pouring and alas, I find him, sitting on a bench with his cold, wrinkled hands covering his pale, hollow face. His once rosy cheeks are now blue. And he sits there, sobbing; weeping his heart out. I do not know what to say. I can only say so much to comfort him.

I know what he feels. I felt the same way when I got hurt many times before. But that is in the past. I have gotten over of the feeling of sorrow and the state of depression. You can only hold on to something for so long and you would just have to let it go.

They say, 'Time heals all wounds', but for this lone wanderer, I do not know how a mere passing of days and weeks can take away the burden that this pain has caused him. All I can do is wish him the best."

Many times you will go over problems in your life and instinctively, you will resolve to sorrow and grief. It is all right to let your emotions out for a while but never let it control you.

When the pain goes further and deeper into you, it will cause you to shut down and to plunge into a state of depression. You can only imagine how one can live with a burdened heart.

So cast your cares away, let God take hold of your life and all your problems and sorrow will come to pass. Live your life with abundant joy and love. Always stay happy!
